Cookie Policy
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Here is what 43dots uses them for and how to control them.
Cookies we use
- Essential: needed for the site to load and work, and to remember basic preferences.
- Analytics: we may use privacy-friendly analytics to count visits and see which guides are read, so we can write better ones. This does not identify you personally.
- Advertising: we show ads, and our advertising partners set cookies (see below).
Google AdSense and third-party cookies
We use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of the DoubleClick DART cookie enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to 43dots and other sites on the internet.
- Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads to you based on your visits to 43dots and other sites.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can opt out of many third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info/choices.
Your choice on this site
When you first visit 43dots you see a cookie banner with two options: Accept all or Essential only. Until you accept, we default advertising and analytics storage to off using Google Consent Mode, so any ads shown are non-personalised. If you choose Essential only, we keep it that way. You can change your choice any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer.
Controlling cookies
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Some parts of the site may not work as smoothly without them. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings and aboutads.info/choices. For more on how we handle data, see our privacy policy.
