Affiliate Disclosure

43dots is free to read. We pay for it with ads and, in some cases, affiliate commissions. Here is exactly how that works and what it means for you.

What an affiliate link is

Some links to credit cards, loans, bank accounts, and other products are affiliate or referral links. If you click one and then apply or sign up, we may earn a commission from that company. You pay nothing extra. The price and terms are the same as if you had gone to the provider directly.

How this affects our content

It does not change what we write. We do not rank products higher, hide their downsides, or recommend them because a company pays more. Our guides are researched independently, and we cover products that pay us nothing whenever they are the right answer, including secured cards, credit-builder accounts, and free tools. When we point out a fee, a catch, or a better alternative, that is the honest call, not a paid one.

Ads are separate

We also show ads, including through Google AdSense. Ads are labelled and are chosen by the ad network, not written by us. An advertiser paying for an ad slot does not buy a mention or a recommendation in our guides. See our privacy policy and cookie policy for how advertising cookies work.

Our promise

  • We disclose that a page may contain affiliate links, in line with FTC guidance and Indian advertising norms.
  • Commissions never decide our ratings, rankings, or recommendations.
  • We only feature products a real person in your situation could actually use, and we say so plainly when something is not a good fit.
  • The numbers, fees, and rules we cite are researched from the provider or the bureau. Always confirm the current terms with the company before you apply.

A note on advice

Our content is for general education, not personal financial advice. What is right for you depends on your own situation. See our disclaimer for the full statement, and our editorial policy for how we research and correct our work.
